EEN South West: Seeking Business Opinion

EEN helps small businesses to make the most of the European marketplace. Working through local organisations they help develop business in new markets, source or license new technologies and provide access to EU finance and EU funding.

Chord has delivered business-to-business telephone surveys commissioned by the European Commission (EC) through EEN in several consultation areas including:

• Working Time Directive
• European Contract Law
• Alternative Dispute Resolution

One of the main challenges was to identify and reach the most relevant respondent, with appropriate subject knowledge and experience within sampled businesses, in order to secure complete valid and complete survey responses.

Chord completed the surveys via telephone, capturing details directly into an online survey tool (both SNAP and Survey Monkey were used) – to enable EEN to access responses as they were completed and to facilitate required analysis and reporting.

Reach and survey completion were optimised by emailing a link to the online survey to enable online completion for respondents initially unavailable by telephone.  Reminder calls were made to non-respondents at pre-planned intervals.

EEN Northern Ireland – An integrated campaign designed and delivered by Chord UK secured 150 highly qualified leads, combined with data cleansing, data capture and customer intelligence gathering.
