You will be pleased, I hope, to hear that Chord has so far been largely unaffected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We hope things stay that way and that you and your organisations are safe and well.
So far, we have been fortunate. There have been no reported Coronavirus cases amongst our workforce.
We are currently all fit, well and practising responsible social distancing.
Chord is:
- Fortunate to be based in a small rural village in Somerset across two office locations.
- Grateful that staff are able to walk or drive to work, without the need to use public transport.
- Open for business and in a position to allow staff to securely work from home on certain campaigns if they prefer.
- Providing separate workspaces at our offices for our team to work safely. These are more than two metres apart to facilitate social distancing.
- Processing clients’ special category personal data and payments from Chord premises only.
- Implementing new and stringent health and safety guidelines to keep the office environment clean and safe.
Chord will:
- Ensure that the health and well-being of our people, our clients, our business partners and our communities are our top priority.
- Closely monitor the UK government’s COVID-19 advice and the potential impact on Chord and our clients.
- Put additional measures in place to ensure that we are able to deliver uninterrupted service and business continuity.
- Stop all non-essential travel and face-to-face meetings.
- Be available via our usual telephone numbers, conference call facilities and email addresses.
