As Operations Director I have a broad range of responsibilities. I oversee Chord’s Business Management System, handle the accounts, cost control and HR administration, and ensure office equipment and conditions are up to standard. I am Chord’s ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 27001 (information security management) champion.
I have a BSc in Business Economics & Statistics and a marketing background having worked for 14 years for multinational companies providing market research within their marketing departments. After taking a break to spend time with my children, I joined Chord in September 2003 as a Telephone Sales Executive. My broader responsibilities started in 2005 when I took on the position of Office Manager a role that has expanded as the company has.
I’m proud to be part of the team that has seen the company grow and evolve over the years. I am lucky to live close to the office and so can enjoy the benefits of a challenging job without a challenging commute! When I’m not working I enjoy getting out as much as possible, walking, gardening, and my regular Zumba classes. A treat for me is a trip to the theatre to see a musical. When I get the chance I like to travel. I love exploring new cities and my annual trip to Menorca with family and friends to enjoy dancing at the ‘fiesta’.
