I am ultimately responsible for the strategy, development and growth of Chord. However, I couldn’t do this without the strong support of my amazing team, who are fully equipped and capable of running the company on a day to day basis without me!
After more than 20 years marketing and sales experience, I created Chord back in April 2001 and have since developed our capability to offer a full integrated marketing service to clients across a wide range of sectors. My aim is to continue to develop Chord and to keep up with the ‘young ones’, by maximising the use of technology that is now available to us. In addition to this, my primary role is to bring new clients into the business, which is my favourite part of the job.
In my spare time (what’s that, I often wonder?) I love being in the garden and try and get out as much as I can. Three of my four wonderful children have left home, so the house tends to flux from being calm one weekend to hectic on another. Christmas is my favourite and most exciting time of year, when all the family come together. One day I would like to trek in Nepal, visit India to retrace my steps in 1984, create photograph albums for each of my children, start a community allotment for the lost and lonely, become fluent in French, cycle from London to Paris and visit outer space, if I live long enough!
